Pricing Services
Why Do We List Our Prices Publicly?
We think all moving companies should be more transparent about the fact we file tariffs with the State, and that we are to follow that no matter what. We have been in business since 2020, and we believe in education, honesty and integrity. We do our best to assess the size of a move by video walkthroughs, communicating with our clients, and our own previous experiences of similar move situations.
The following charges listed, and the method in which they are charged, are specific to the Schedule / Item that we register our Tariffs with the Illinois Commerce Commission. All moving companies are required to follow their tariffs filed, and they should not deviate from those tariffs, regardless of time of year, how much business they are generating (or lack thereof), or in competition with other bids with other companies.

Long-Haul Rates

- Within the area covered by the counties of Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will.
Weight-Rate Base
We determine our pricing based on the mileage traveled one direction for your trip (no deadhead miles) and the true weight of your shipment. Our estimates are based on a seven pounds per cubic foot metric, however your pricing may change depending on the true weight of your shipment. This means that these rates are technically non-binding to our estimate, but binding in how we follow the rules of our Schedule.
This table is directly copied from the Illinois Commerce Commission Tariff Schedule 28. This follows a 4,000 pound minimum for shipments.
